Stereo's Clint Peterson and Chris Pastras in Ode to Matt Hensley

Later’d mastermind Patrick O’Dell just directed, and Stereo friend Aaron Meza edited a rad little video for the Historics’ new single, “A Lot Less.” Self-respecting skate nerds far and wide should immediately recognize the song from Matt Hensley’s timeless part in H-Street’s ’89 smash hit, Hokus Pokus (Starts at 3:48). Originally laid down by Sub Society, the campy cover of Matt’s song is accompanied by a host of recognizable names donning cargo shorts, chain wallets, Chukkas, pulled up socks, and other Hensley staples whilst recreating some of Matt’s classic H-Street era VHS bangers. Chris and Clint pitch in alongside Spanky, Heath, Andrew Allen, Alex Olson, John Rattray, Mike Rusczyk, and Clark Hassler with their own reenactments. While I’d have to honestly give Heath the gold for his picnic table hop to nose wheelie rendition (the camera glance and hand gesture are just too viscerally spot on), Clint comes in red hot with three of Hensley’s mini ramp bangers from Not the New H-Street Video (’91). The puffy cheeks do not go unnoticed. Steve Ortega would be proud
