Stereo Pro Benny Fairfax interview on Skate Talk

Click here to watch a really good Benny Fairfax interview on Skate Talk. I really like Skate Talk because they ask questions that magazines wouldn't dare to ask.

Chris Pastras on The Chromeball Incident

If you've never seen The Chromeball Incident you should make it part of your regular internet skate trawl. It's updated constantly (daily?) and is a veritable treasure trove of classic skateboard photos and interviews of some of the most legendary skateboarders, plus a lot who've slipped away from the mainstream skate world.

The latest post is some classic shots and a 1995 interview of Chris Pastras, when he was still more commonly known as DUNE...

Berrics - Stereo Office Tour

Stereo Co-Captains Jason Lee & Chris Pastras came correct, offering some wit endowed banter, ODB, a quick tour of the sold out Stereo warehouse, and even taught Berra how to rock his fedora just right. In the words of a man once decapitated following one of his better video parts, "If that's not a company worth supporting, then I don't know what is." Click here to check the clip.

Stereo's Clint Peterson and Chris Pastras in Ode to Matt Hensley

Later’d mastermind Patrick O’Dell just directed, and Stereo friend Aaron Meza edited a rad little video for the Historics’ new single, “A Lot Less.” Self-respecting skate nerds far and wide should immediately recognize the song from Matt Hensley’s timeless part in H-Street’s ’89 smash hit, Hokus Pokus (Starts at 3:48). Originally laid down by Sub Society, the campy cover of Matt’s song is accompanied by a host of recognizable names donning cargo shorts, chain wallets, Chukkas, pulled up socks, and other Hensley staples whilst recreating some of Matt’s classic H-Street era VHS bangers. Chris and Clint pitch in alongside Spanky, Heath, Andrew Allen, Alex Olson, John Rattray, Mike Rusczyk, and Clark Hassler with their own reenactments. While I’d have to honestly give Heath the gold for his picnic table hop to nose wheelie rendition (the camera glance and hand gesture are just too viscerally spot on), Clint comes in red hot with three of Hensley’s mini ramp bangers from Not the New H-Street Video (’91). The puffy cheeks do not go unnoticed. Steve Ortega would be proud

NYC Autumn Bowl Jam

ACE Trucks rider Kyle Berard took top spot at the Autumn Bowl Jam on Tuesday, with Andrew Langi and Dan Carreiro following in 2nd and 3rd place. Here's a quick clip I found on serialstripe's YouTube channel.

If it wasn't rad enough to witness amazing skating in New York's legendary Autumn Bowl - there was apparently free Asahi beer flowing all day!?!? Super dry!

There's also some nice pics of Andrew Langi, 5Boro's Willy Akers and Kyle Berard on the Thrasher site - click here.
